Shreya Ravikumar is a freshman at MIT. She has been passionate about math since a young age and has participated in numerous math competitions, qualifying for AIME 6 times. She’s dedicated to sharing her love for math with other students as the former co-head coach for GRMS competitive math team, VP of DVHS Math Club, and president of the DVHS Math Olympiad Club. She is also very interested in data science/artificial intelligence and its applications to biomedicine, co-founding the DMC Data Science program in 2019. This is her 5th year at DMC and 1st year on the advisory board. In her free time, she enjoys reading fantasy books, watching crime shows, and listening to music.

President: Valerie Kwek

Valerie Kwek is a senior at Dougherty Valley High School. She is very passionate about competitive math and has competed in numerous competitions such as MOEMS, MathCounts, and AMC/AIME. Having been a part of DMC since 2019, she is extremely excited to share her passion for the STEM field with this year’s cohort of students. Outside of DMC, you can find her having board game marathons with her family or ranting about Harry Potter.

Treasurer: Arav Bhattacharya

Arav Bhattacharya is a current high school junior at Dougherty Valley High School. He loves math, and his favorite math topic is taking the derivative of e^x. He started volunteering for DMC in 2019 and has greatly enjoyed his time here! Apart from math, some of his hobbies include messing around in video games such as The Legend of Zelda, watching comedy sketches, and being an avid percussionist.

Secretary: Nidhi Gaonkar

Hello! I’m Nidhi Gaonkar, a high school sophomore at Dougherty Valley High School. I’ve been participating in math competitions since middle school, and I’m curious about the applications of math in science and technology fields. This is my second year at DMC and I’m passionate about teaching competitive math to students and sharing my love of problem solving. Aside from math, I enjoy robotics, listening to music, programming, and playing basketball.
